Enigma, Me...

Take a stroll
down the street,
It runs through
a few memories...
talk to a stranger
at some random spot,
his words would remind you
of my thoughts...
just linger along
in those emptiness,
you'll find yourself
aching for my presence...
but life aint
some gypsies' wonderball,
it shows no future
just lurks in the past....

Very well said Eon!!
'Reminds me of these words: How can I forget my past, most of my life lies there...'
Beautiful verses...life is a mystery and memories sometimes helps in unfolding them!
Liked the poem :)
Take Care.
The second verse rings so true....
Our lives are so very similar that at some point or the other we find an echo or reflection of our lives in others.
Beautifully expressed! :D

hey !
:( :(
Nice one, it reminds me of a song by John Mayer, Who says I can't get stoned
Not that the mood or the theme is same, but it somewhat rhymed with that.

i know...but then, isnt it good in a way? to know that we arent a zombie yet?
to qute a line from "Iris - Goo Goo Dolls"
and i bleed just to know am alive...
Howdy?
The vignette is transitory in terms of expression. For, it is swathed in the author's apprehensive declaration. They are scrupulous, yet apprehensive.
And there, your pieces entail simplicity, a certain dimension of randomness but they never seem amateur. =)

@Clandestine
My humbled by the words you say. Thank you.
:)
p.s.- i couldnt find the comment section on your blog..??
@Undapakhru
:)
try...
To tell you honestly, I have come here many a times to read your post. Every time I came, it only left me speechless... :)
As many times, I read it, I found something new in it...May be I was't only understanding the words, but also the spaces between those words
Mr.Enigmatic...Your words have left me with none this time :)
and this happens very rarely :P
P.S. If you haven't listened The song 'The Spirit Carries on' by Dream Theater, then do...It does not have the same theme as your post, but when listening to it and reading your words, created an enigmatic feeling :)
@Poonam.doc
:)
was awaiting your comment...
@Dee
Why does it leave you uncomfy?
I read you a couple of times... today after reading this one, I begun from the beginning of 'the silhouette', I'll comment on the other posts later, I'll feel the words and say what I felt. I miss 'Soliloquies' today, I wanted to share your words on it.
I don't know what to do with my past. But I know that there are those who care about what I do with my future. AND I'LL NEVER GIVE UP ON THEM.
There is this beautiful song, my fav- 'pankhon ko hawa zaara si lagne do...' do listen to it even if you have already had.
Eon, I set my blog's settings right.
It is still odd.
*shrugs*
Anyway, you're welcome, mostly.
And the comment thing is fixed. =)
@Clandestine
:)
"you're welcome,mostly"
am i missing something??
O_0?
@Beyond
i say, you can still continue Soliloquies...
you cant do anything with the past except accept it...and yes, the future, dont worry much about it, just do justice to the present and it will take care of the future...
:)
i will wait for your words..
the song, i'll listen to it...
Thank you.
