The Dawning...

The ink has dried,
The words are gone,
Have your memories
Disappeared?

Like the autumn leaves
carried by the wind,
why does everything seem,
so incomplete…

Praying for sun,
when it comes pouring down,
why has this rain,
become so tormenting…

Tears of pain
has dried in my eyes,
yet I smile,
knowing nothing will change…

As the time flies
out of my life,
I walk, leaving behind
What was once mine…

is'nt this the virtue of life...
That is what everyone does ... "Moving on "

though we all are on our own and because of this precise fact we will never be alone ...

  6. I can say one thing. The image you have chosen and the words that you have penned complement each other.

I was reading the lines and looking at the image as the entire picture rose to life and talked to me.

The third and fourth paragraphs sort of held the fort between swaying thoughts. Is that a touch you intended? I am sure it was. :-)

    Good work mate!

P.S.: Though I can fairly understand the subtlety, I couldn't quite fathom the reference of autumn leaves carried by the wind to the incompleteness. May be I am losing my touch! Yikes!

  7. The dawning...a new beginning, thats what I can read in your writings...both here and in hindi too.

How long will there be the emptiness/incompleteness? Spring may arrive soon.

Acceptance can be seen by the smile, let it be from heart.

I can see the presence of (her) The Silhouette :)

When i saw the pic, i knew it would be perfect...
as for the last two stanzas, after writing the first three, i realised it may end up being a real long one, so i cut it short with those.. :)

the autumn leaves...hmm, well its not you losing your touch, i was asked the same question by one more friend. I wanted to portray the emptiness of the autumn tree once the leaves are all carried away by the cold winds, and the inevitable winter that follows...the tree was the subject, which sadly was no where in teh picture.. O_0?

    and once again...thanks a lot.. :)

  19. I won't say much..partly due to the fact that I can't find words..but somehow I'm humming the song Broken..

"The broken clock is a comfort,
    It helps me sleep tonight..
    Maybe it can stop tomorrow..
    From stealing all my time.."

I dunno it maybe sounding weird but thats the way it si!
